The who and the why…

My name is Casey, aka Dawg (hence the blog title).  I’m a 28 year old wannabe photographer living in Rocklin, CA.  I grew up in El Segundo, CA, went to college in San Luis Obispo, lived in Taos, NM for a year, and finally, here, in Northern California where I have been for the last two and half years.  I don’t know how much longer I will be here as I am a restless soul, always seeking a way to shake things up.  In fact, it’s amazing that I have been here this long when, two and half years ago, I thought this was a temporary gig.  So, maybe I’m not a restless soul…at least not in a geographical sense.  But I am the type of person who constantly wants to learn more about myself and the world around me.  I’m rarely satisified with myself or the work I am doing.  The last three years I have been working on being okay with who I am and where I am in the moment I am in.  It has not been easy, but it has been worth its while.  This blog is a way for me to reflect on life, on thoughts, on events, and whatever else comes up on this journey…
